Kayla

Teacher Kayla joined Seattle Preschool in April 2023. She has been with SGA since May 2015, starting out as a preschool and school-age gymnastics coach in addition to working in our Special Events department on the weekends. Around 2018 Teacher Kayla became the Special Events supervisor, coached virtual classes through Covid and is now finishing out her credentials to become the lead teacher in Columbia City. Teacher Kayla is so excited to combine gymnastics with an educational preschool. Playing sports (basketball, soccer and track) throughout her entire life has helped shape a clear understanding of the important benefits and life skills of combing school with physical activity, daily.

Teacher Kayla will be the lead teacher at our Columbia City location. She is looking forward to providing a safe, comfortable and fun place for preschoolers to explore and grow.

In her free time, Teacher Kayla is a full-time, coffee drinking, cat mom to Emerald and Clover. Any guess what Teacher Kayla’s favorite color is? She also enjoys spending her off days with her sister and nephews, introducing them to all the cool activities and experiences life has to offer.
