A flexible preschool-experience: 3 or 4-hour single sessions of care, learning, activity and socialization.
Playdate Plus is a flexible, drop-in program. Each session is a preschool experience where your child joins our Seattle Preschool classmates, and includes over two-hours in our classroom for exploration and self-led play as well as teacher-led activities and project time; plus gym time (gymnastics, games, movement) to connect the brain and body.
Is it your in-office workday and you need some childcare? A block of time to run errands or attend appointments? Or want a slower introduction / no-commitment approach to Preschool? Playdate Plus is a flexible program in partnership with Seattle Gymnastics Academy that is there when you need it, whatever you may need it for. A fully supervised Teacher-led program, each session is a preschool experience, where your child joins our Seattle Preschool classmates, and includes over two-hours in our classroom for exploration and self-led play as well as teacher-led activities and project time; plus gym time (gymnastics, games, movement) to connect the brain and body (and burn energy!) – and of course, lots of fun throughout!
Children will benefit from social interaction with peers and a new adult figure, get comfortable being away from parents and become excited about school!
Enrollment is offered on a per-daily-session basis, which means you can pre-register or drop-in for only the days and session times that work for you and your family.

- 4-hour AM Session (9am – 1pm): $120
- 3-hour PM Session (1pm – 4pm): $90

Important notes:
- Preschool-age students must be toilet trained and self-sufficient in the restroom. Children must be able to attend without the use of pull-ups or diapers. If you have any concerns regarding your child’s self-sufficiency in the restroom, please contact us directly.
- 5-year-olds must not yet have entered Kindergarten to attend our Preschool Playdate Plus events.
- Please notify us if your child has severe allergies or any special needs and fill out our Medical Policy and Authorization paperwork. Leave any medication for your child with our staff.
What to bring:
- Healthy snacks and/or lunch, plus a pre-filled water bottle.
- Please pack a full change of clothes in a gallon-size ziplock bag with your child’s name on it each day.
10% discount
Receive a 10% discount on Playdate Plus tuition when you commit to a regular schedule for the year.
You must complete the Playdate Plus Contract, submit a deposit, and agree to have tuition processed on autopay to be eligible for the reduced pricing.
What else to know:
- Drop-off and pick-up will be promptly at start and end times.
- Parents – make sure you register in advance! Our limited spaces fill up fast so pre-register to avoid disappointment.
- Playdate Plus runs September – June and follows the Seattle Public Schools calendar for holiday closures.
- While we will sometimes use the big kids’ equipment too, we have bars, beams, trampolines and more that are just the perfect size for little learners. All preschool classes are co-ed, so we learn ALL the things!
- Classroom exploration, outdoor play (select locations) and project time inside the Seattle Preschool + Pre-K are incorporated daily.
The staff are incredible educators and really personable and easy to interact with as a parent.
