Kindergarten Readiness (Pre-K)
Our Pre-K program is specifically designed to extend student learning and close the gap between Preschool and Elementary School. The 5-day a week schedule prepares your child for the longer days yet to come and provides additional time in the classroom to support their expanding social, emotional and academic needs. Our multi-age setting encourages peer development, mentorship and compassion. Class time is divided into carefully designed, age-appropriate learning periods for children to have a smooth transition into Kindergarten.

Time
9:00am – 2:00pm
Duration: 5 hours (Includes 60 minutes of gym time each day)
Ages
4-to-5-year-olds (Must be entering Kindergarten the following school year)
Daily Schedule
9:00–11:30am: Classroom Exploration/Group Activities/Lunch/Circle Time
11:30-12:30pm: Gym Time
12:30-1:00pm: Outdoor Play
1:00-2:00pm: Small Group Activities
Deposit: 1-month tuition (To be used towards June tuition)

Field Trips
Field trips include theme-based activities and in-house classroom visits that help to reinforce the curriculum and promote community. Field trip days include parents or caregivers for a fun-filled day that includes structured activities and exploration. Some of our favorite field trips are Oxbow Farm in Carnation and our local Fire Department!

We utilize both play and physical activity as a medium through which children can develop their social awareness, emotion-management skills and strengthen their mind-body connection. We offer an integrated approach to theme-based curriculum that nurtures curiosity, and supports exploration and individualized growth. Our goal is to provide students with a foundation for meeting life’s challenges with independence and confidence.

Enrollment Process
It starts by coming to view our unique space – which includes the classroom, the gym, and outdoor play area – and meeting our teachers, by attending an open house or a private tour. We can’t wait to meet your family!
