Our first year at Seattle Preschool in Columbia City

We are underway into our first school year of The Seattle Preschool at Columbia City! It is many of the students’ first time attending school and everyone is making new friends and getting acclimated to our daily schedule.

We started the school year with water table areas for sensory play both inside and outside, and in October we have transitioned to a popcorn table full of Fall leaves, acorns and mini pumpkins!  The play-dough table has been full of many creations from cookies to dinosaurs. We have also enjoyed our newly added outdoor space with a race track for bicycles and scooters as well as our gardening spaces where we are growing flowers and plants!
