I have been with Seattle Gymnastics Academy now as a preschool teacher and a coach for 5 years. I started at the Ballard gym and moved here to the Burien facility from the early construction stage. My background prior to starting at SGA was working as a preschool teacher at Mount St Vincent’s Intergenerational Learning Center for 13 years. I worked on-call with all ages from babies to Pre-K for half of that time, and then moved permanently to the Pre-k teacher position. I worked at Easter Seals Growing Years preschool for 2 years before that as well.

I have worked on and off as a gymnastics coach over the years before finding SGA, and have also now coached high school gymnastics for Chief Sealth International High School for 6 years. I am very excited to take part in the preschool program here at SGA Burien. I feel that my many years of experience as a teacher, a father, and a coach can help this program as it grows!
