Early Start (parent / caregiver participation)
The Early Start Preschool program is designed to offer younger children an opportunity to engage their minds and bodies while exploring a preschool classroom, plus our gymnastics facility and outdoor playground, with the assistance of a parent / caregiver and a Teacher.
The program offers a progression from one day to two days per week, where one day is drop-off, giving children time to learn and grow from social interaction with peers and offering a gentle, positive transition to preschool.
Come to our special Open House just for Early Start on Saturday, December 6, 10-11:30am at both Lake City and Columbia City!
The Early Start program is perfect for toddlers who missed the age cut-off to attend a full-time preschool program in the current academic year or a preschool aged child who needs more support and time before transitioning to drop-off preschool. The program includes classroom exploration, STEAM, sensory learning, movement, music and group activities; all inspired by the world around us. Adult / caregiver participation is required.
